About The Site Developer
Eric Kean, graduate of Cornell University, has taught college algebra, calculus, probability, and related courses at Oberlin College, Case Western University, John Caroll University, and Western Washington University. Not a typical "math professor", he is also a professional violist, having played with the Seattle Symphony, performed on Boston Public Radio, and given a viola master class in Malmö, Sweden.
Eric took to web programming a few years back after coming up with the concept of an interactive online algebra book and has since expanded the concept to a platform where college professors can develop online, interactive textbooks. He hopes that these tools will give students low-cost, high quality alternatives to traditional textbooks, that can be directly tailored to specific class material.
In addition to developing this website concept, Eric has developed academic content for several other popular learning tools, including his iPad/iPhone Precalculus Review App and his AP Statistics Review App. Feel free to contact Eric with any questions.
